The Staff

The past eight years I have spent being part of a dental office that has changed my life. I never knew how important it was to be a part of life changing experiences. My passion is to see the outcome of lives that we have changed here daily. It puts a smile on my face and touches my heart. I live in my home town of Joshua, Texas. I have two beautiful daughters, Zoey and Briley, who are very involved in dance and gymnastics. I enjoy spending quality family time every chance I get. There is never a dull moment being part of a pediatric practice which make my days absolutely FABULOUS!!!

As a small town girl growing up in Granbury, Texas, it was never a question of what Maranda thought she would do. She knew that she wanted to clean teeth and enjoy the sparkling smiles as a result. She loves her job as a pediatric dental hygienist and has been an active part of the dental community for over 10 years. Maranda is an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary at Children’s Medical Center. She lives with her wonderful husband, Jason, and their Scottish terrier, Maggie. In her spare time, she loves to read fictional books and hang out with her four nieces.

Jennifer is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to study dental hygiene at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. She loves making the patients laugh so that they look forward to their dental appointments where they have a fun and memorable experience. Jennifer is an active member of the Junior League of Fort Worth. She and her husband enjoy traveling and cheering on the TCU Horned Frogs and UT Longhorn football teams.
 

Erika enjoys interacting with others and looks forward to meeting new patients and their family’s everyday! She has an outgoing, friendly personality that makes our patients feel extremely welcome. During her standby time, she looks onward to making wonderful memories with her husband of six years and their beautiful and loving two year old daughter, Kenzie. They both love to dance, sing, and play dress up. You can certainly come across them spending a lot of mommy and me time together. Erika believes children are a blessing and makes sure to make every moment a memorable one.
 

Chesli has been an assistant for the past 3 years, but plans to attend dental hygiene school in the near future. She loves working with children here at the office and even when away from the office her love for children shines at heart --- she loves Disney and baking cupcakes. Her passion is music. You may even catch her singing or dancing every now and then. A kid at heart makes for a perfect assistant here at the pediatric office.

Angie has been Registered Dental Assistant for 11 years. She has worked in almost every dental field, pediatrics being her favorite. Angie loves the relationships she builds with her patients in the treatment room. She has two children, Patience is 4 and Zarick is 3. In her free time Angie loves to spend time with her kids, singing, dancing and playing outside. Angie also enjoys learning ASL along with Patience who is hearing impaired. Angie has a heart for missions and loves strong coffee; she actually has her own coffee pot because no one can drink her coffee!

Julie loves her new career working with children in the dental field. “My mom always made sure I had a positive experience at the dentist office. I want to do my part to make sure all the kids that come into Burleson Pediatric Dentistry have as much fun as I did.” Julie is mom to four fabulous kiddos … Megan is 16, Kimmie is 14, and her twins, Mikey and Kaylee are 12. Her evenings and weekends are spent with her family and friends having cookouts and various other kids’ activities such as basketball, football, and tennis and color guard. Julie’s time spent away from work is very busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Amber has been a dental assistant for one year. She has wonderful husband Shea and a super cute 2 year old son, Brae. Brae keeps her on her toes, as he is a very busy little one. Family time is very important to Amber and she has a lot of support from the two men in her life. She loves reading and enjoys baking for the office staff – she keeps our tummies very happy!!! Amber loves being a part of a pediatric office because there is always something exciting going on each and every day.
